Susan’s practice focuses primarily upon the areas of estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, complex trust and tax issues, including the implementation of sophisticated estate plans, including Wills, trusts, marital property agreements, and buy-sell agreements. Susan also has prepared numerous gift, federal estate, charitable and income tax returns. Her considerable legal experience in private practice, as well as with several corporate trustees, gives her a unique perspective on planning for wealthy business owners, along with addressing issues in complicated trust administration and fiduciary matters.
Susan graduated with a B.A., cum laude from Duke University. After graduating from Duke University and prior to obtaining her law degree, Susan worked as an estate and trusts paralegal for several large Philadelphia law firms. Susan then earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law and later received her LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Susan has been practicing law for over thirty years, including time as Senior Wealth Adviser in a Delaware trust company, as well as with a trust company in Pennsylvania.
Susan has had several of her articles concerning estate planning published in JD Supra. Susan is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Philadelphia Estate Planning Counsel, and the Delaware County Attorney/CPA Forum. Susan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
